Machinery & Vehicle Cleaning

Our machinery cleaning process allows us to clean complex machinery including piping, valves, and intricate mechanical/hydraulic machinery can be cleaned quickly and inspected frequently without disassembly or masking.

About Machinery Cleaning

Layers of paint removed one at a time, or multiple layers removed all in one go. The Low Pressure Abrasive Jet Cleaning System has many uses for industrial cleaning, from cleaning machinery with minimal mess and disruption, to building cleaning.

Layers of paint removed one at a time, or multiple layers removed all in one go.

One area of specialism is low pressure cleaning of car body panels, because of the low pressures, and the ‘cold’ blast, thin metal panels are not distorted by the cleaning action and paint can be easily removed. The thin layer of ‘gingering’ – a result of our wet process, can be eliminated by using rust preventatives in our system, by drying the metal soon after blasting and washing off. Alternatively a suitable metal primer can be used that combines with the iron oxide itself.

One major advantage is that rubber and plastic is very resilient to the sand jet – vehicles and machinery do not have to be stripped down before cleaning – the system will not damage electrical cables or hydraulic pipes.

Key machinery cleaning facts:

•The low pressures mean that the system is gentle enough to clean delicate surfaces, yet powerful enough to strip multiple layers of paint in one pass.

•It is not a chemical process so no noxious or harmful slurries or fumes are generated.

•As it uses only minimal amounts of water and abrasive the system is regularly used indoors.

•Considerably less mess than other systems, the low pressures mean that secondary mess (dust being blown out of floorboards etc) is also minimised.

•Has successfully cleaned stone, bricks, metal, hard woods and fiberglass. No interference with other work in area.
